Join The South East Rivers Trust at Barnes Common for free family activities to celebrate London Rivers Week on 30th May 9:30am-12pm.
A morning packed with fun family activities exploring the Beverley Brook and discovering the wildlife at Barnes Common, earning a Junior River Ranger badge and certificate. This will include a nature scavenger hunt, a craft activity, and discovering river creatures.
Aimed at children aged 5-11 years old, an adult must be present.
Meeting Point: Barnes Common Vine Road Pavilion, SW13 0NE
Facilities: Toilets will be available and a fruit snack provided
What to bring: Please dress appropriately for weather on the day, and bring water to stay hydrated. It is not possible for children to access the river at this location. A river dip will be carried out by session leaders for the children to discover the river creatures at Barnes Common.
