Bassetts Mead Gravel Seeding – River Whitewater

Activity description: Come and help us put gravel into the River Whitewater to create spawning habitat for fish! Activities will include shovelling gravel into wheelbarrows and raking it into the river. This is a physical activity that involves working in the river.
Meeting Point: A30 layby (on corner of Holt Lane, opposite Crooked Billet pub), Hook, RG27 9EL. Google map HERE.
What to bring: gardening gloves (they will get wet so you may want to avoid expensive leather ones), hand sanitiser, face mask and any food and water you may want for the day.
Covid precautions: Please do not attend this event if you, or a member of your household, has any symptoms of covid-19.
