Farmers and land managers situated in the Eden river catchment (check the map below to see if you are in the Eden catchment) are invited to a breakfast seminar, which will provide support and advice on managing the land to safeguard water quality in the River Eden.
The talk is part of a partnership project looking to safeguard water quality in the River Eden between the South East Rivers Trust (SERT), Catchment-Sensitive Farming (CSF – part of Natural England), the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group (FWAG) and SES Water.
The session will include presentations from the project partners highlighting advice and support available from them, on topics such as: soil husbandry, nutrient management planning, best practice spraying and yard management and Nature-based Solutions for water. It will also provide the opportunity to meet fellow local farmers and land managers and for you to have your say in the advice and support you are most interested in receiving from the project partners in the future.
