Morden Hall River Restoration day 2

Berm at Morden Hall Park 2020

Activity description: Sign up to join us for restoration and habitat management work at Morden Hall Park. Activities will include installing large woody material (LWM), management of invasive non-native species (INNS) such as removing pennywort and litter picking.

This continues our work leading volunteers as part of an on-going series of events improving this section of the River Wandle at Morden Hall park.

What to bring?

We will be working outdoors in the river so please bring sensible clothing (warm clothing, long sleeved top, waterproof coat etc). We advise having a good breakfast to keep you going through the day.

What SERT will bring

We will provide waders for everyone to wear.

We will be offering tea and coffee during the break as well as some biscuits / snacks. Otherwise, bring your own food.

Hand washing facilities will be available.

Toilets are available on site.

Covid precautions: Please do not attend this event if you, or a member of your household, has any symptoms of covid-19.
