Join The South East Rivers Trust at Sutton Ecology Centre for free family activities to celebrate London Rivers Week on 31st May 9:30am-12pm.

A morning packed with fun family activities exploring the River Wandle and discovering the wildlife at The Grove, earning a Junior River Ranger badge and certificate. This will include a nature scavenger hunt, a craft activity, and river dipping.

Aimed at children aged 5-11 years old, an adult must be present. 

Meeting Point: The Ecology Centre Classroom in The Grove Park, Carshalton, SM52HU

Facilities: Toilets will be available and a fruit snack provided

What to bring: Please dress appropriately for weather on the day, and bring water to stay hydrated. It may be possible at this location for children to get in the river to carry out river dipping if conditions are favourable. If this is something you would like your child to do, they must be wearing wellies/river shoes/shoes and socks they are happy to get wet and bring a spare dry pair and towel.
