Project Kingfisher, our educational programme, was developed as part of the Living Wandle Landscape Partnership, a Heritage Lottery Funded Project which delivered over 26 projects to improve the Wandle corridor for people and wildlife. During this, we worked with 56 local schools, engaging over 8000 children with the River Wandle.
With the funding for this project having ended in 2017, we now offer sessions to schools on the Wandle for a fee on a not for profit basis.
In 2017, we received funding from the Greggs Foundation to expand our work on to the Hogsmill and Beverley Brook. This work is continuing into 2019/20 with support from Tesco Bags of Help, Ernest Cook Trust and the Postcode Lottery.
