Gloria is our ‘Preventing Plastic Pollution’ Project Manager and works on the Medway catchment to pilot a series of approaches and new ways to understand and remove plastics from local waterways. The data gathered is used with locals to enable behavioural change towards being more river-friendly and less plastic-dependent approaches.
Gloria’s work applies a catchment based approach in collaboration with local organisations, communities and businesses to enable a long-lasting legacy.
The seeds for Gloria’s passion for the environment were sown in her childhood. She turned her desire for a less wasteful society into volunteering and, since university, her working life.
