Harry’s role at the South East Rivers Trust is as the London Catchment Officer within the Science and Partnerships team, working on the Hogsmill and Beverley Brook rivers.
Harry hosts Catchment Partnerships for these catchments, working with volunteer groups, local water companies, the environment agency, private sector companies and others to maximise the natural value of the catchments and to improve river health.
Harry has a background in geology, having worked as a hydrogeologist. He is fascinated by earth processes and finds river restoration work an interesting triple junction between physical, hydrogeomorphological and ecological fields. He is also passionate about the role healthy rivers play in public spaces and their social benefit.
Outside of the office, Harry spends his time gardening, rock climbing and river swimming.Back to the team page
